Sherman's Lagoon books are published by Andrews McMeel and distributed by Simon & Schuster. There are 26 cartoon books currently in print: 24 collections and 2 treasuries. A "collection" is 128 pages, and contains one- or two-years' worth of comic strips that were previously published in newspapers. A "treasury" is 256 pages, and features the "best of" five- or ten-years' worth of comic strips that were previously published in the collections.
